Message from President
Dear Esteemed Members,
As the President of the Association of Southern Urologists, it is
both an honor and a privilege to address you through this
newsletter. Our organization stands as a beacon of excellence in
the field of urology, fostering professional growth and
collaboration among our members. Inspite of the scorching heat
we were delivering our responsibility to the community serving
our patients .
In the ever-evolving landscape of healthcare, it is paramount that we remain
steadfast in our commitment to advancing urological care. Our collective expertise
and dedication have continually propelled the association forward, enabling it to
overcome challenges and embrace new opportunities for innovation. We could
realize our dream of having our own Journal, thanks to Mallikarjuna Reddy and his
team. Each and every member should collectively contribute to the journal to make
it a success. Our next focus is to support the research in our region and a
committee is instituted under Dr Arun Chawla to coordinate it. The research
methodology classes by Dr Dennis Xavier Professor, Dept of Pharmacology, St
Johns Medical College Bangalore has a big success and has already made a strong
impact in in kindling research interest in our youngsters. The program was the
brain child of our Honourable secretary, and I sincerely congratulate him and Dr
Denis Xavier for the success.
As we navigate the complexities of modern medicine, it is essential that we uphold
the highest standards of patient care, ethical practice, and professional integrity. Our
association serves as a forum for the exchange of knowledge, ideas, and best
practices, empowering each of us to deliver optimal outcomes for our patients. In
the last one year we have been doing our best in this regard. The dedication and hard
work of Dr Suryaprakash, our secretary and the support of each one of the council
members need to be emphasized at this point.
I am proud of the accomplishments we have achieved together, but I am also
mindful of the work that lies ahead. By fostering collaboration, embracing
innovation, and advocating for our patients and profession, we can continue to
elevate urological care in our region and beyond. Next annual conference at
Madurai will be a memorable one in his regard. Please come to Madurai without
fail and support the organizing team in all aspects.
I encourage each of you to actively engage with our association, whether through
participation in conferences, research endeavors, or mentorship opportunities.
Together, we can shape the future of urology and make a meaningful difference in
the lives of those we serve.
Thank you for your dedication to our profession and for your continued support of
the Association of Southern Urologists.
Sincerely,
Dr Ginil Kumar Pooleri
President
